I unearthed a pair of 15x7 (i think they are 7) Volk meshies split rims in a shed, but they are a piss-poor set..one wide for the rear and one less so for the front. They were the guys old skid rims and hes not sure who has the other two...
Got a good cellphones worth of dish
If he finds them im all over the set, 15 isnt too large once low pros slide over them
Last night involved removal of the rear springs and insertion of a pair of pre-cuts that I got off the old owner..sitting the tyre just in the guard, for now.
I was also going to swap a set of cutties and short shocks for my standard springs, but that turned out to be another Rear set, so front gon' get chopped.
The wheel situation bugs me at the moment..hard to lower it suitably with the 12's on it, when ill probably end up putting something too wide on it and being beached and car-less again!
What a good weekend for progress.
My brother made up a bush for the shifter and adjusted the clutch while I painted a ute deck for him..great trade!
I also set the front coils to just-captive jacked up, its lower but not slammed..I dont think i can achieve this look on TWELVES!
Big thanks to Aaron for collecting my A15, a real load off to know its safe and the money swapped! Now upto me to collect the lump.
Now toying with the idea of a tasteful stripe down the flanks, like a B110 GX stripe, or some pinstripes on appropriate swages..just to break up that bloody beige
