the sss badges on the wide honey comb grills don't fit on the skinny honeycomb grills and vice verser.
if thats what dylan is worrying about.
(ie the triangle badge will fit your grill not the hexagonal one.)

So you need an R160/R180 one piece CV input shaft? Or is it a UJ type half shaft?

It may be possible to separate the innver CV, and convert it to the R180 style 2 peice Cv set up. I've never split one of the those one piece inner CV's though. If it works, you could then chuck in a VLSD, and use the R180 3x2 inputs with the extra spline to engage with the viscous cartidge.

What happens it you engage a gear then start the engine with your foot on the clutch? Might just be dragging the clutch for some reason. Have you had the engine idling with the clutch out? Do you know the history / condition of the box?

Yea we started it in gear and it turned the wheels and when u press in the clutch it dosent disengage drive. I just wonder if it is something that can be fixed without pulling gearbox out because its a bit of a mission. The clutch fork can be seen operating and the pedal feels about right. It must bin in the gear box
