Dropped the ol girl into the panel beaters today to get it ready for paint

Will be getting a thorough job done, engine bay inside boot door jams etc should take around 4 weeks to be done as the guy doing it is doing it after hours from his day job as a panel/painter i will also be giving him a hand with the tedious task of sanding but hey good things take time huh? :D

Couple of ideas i would like some feedback on are:

Chin spoiler
a. leave black (pictured below)
Image
b. paint it the same colour as the car is going to be ( the factory blue you can see )

Door frames
a. Paint the same colour as car
b. Paint black (pictured below)

Grille
a. To repaint the colours it is at the mo
b. To repaint a different colour scheme, ideas on what?

Will upload pics on work as we do it to keep you all informed of whats going on

Cheers, Damo

i reckon leave the chin spoiler black, the grill like it is ad paint the window frames black. that will help break up the colour of the new paint

+ 1 Leave chin spoiler black. And if you paint door frames black make sure you use a satin black, not a gloss.

Do the whole thing primer with black guide coat, remove bumpers, fit modgies and eagers or some spitties, do entire interior in snow-camo, paint dashboard white and fit dumpy muffler and 12A full-cut monster J-port.

Or not.
