OK only afew days to go hope your all ready here is an up date

Saturday 25th Dinner is going to be the byo pot luck at Chris and Nickys. At 4.30 we will meet at the count down car park (Cnr Spa Road and Tongariro street) Anyone who hasn't sorted there food or drinks will be able to get them there and then we will then lead you out to the venue in acacia bay. Any Datsuns driven out will go to the top of the drive before other cars please so that we have some pre cruz car porn you view as we get to know everyone. Also the dat quiz that Sarah did for the Saturday dinner last year is on again so study up on all things Datsun.

Sunday 26th Meet up at lake front from 9.00 start heading off at 10-10.30 with a few stops on the way, we will stop at Omori for lunch. If the weather is good we will have a BBQ at the lake (bring what you want to put on the bbq etc) if not we will stop at turangi for lunch at a cafe. after lunch head back to Taupo with a few more stops ending up at Ploughmans for an ale or two and award the trophy, then head back to where your staying before meeting up again for another byo pot luck which Morgan and Sarah have offered to host.

Monday 27th For those keen Carmen and myself will put on a bacon and egg breakfast at 9.00 before your long drive home.

Well I'll kick the ball off by saying what a great weekend we've just had. The datto is definitely running a bit better after an oil change and a decent run.
A big thanks has to go to Rob and Carmen and Chris and Nicky for the organisation and hosting, and to Sarah for the datsun knowledge quiz. (It wasn't rigged- I promise!) A big thanks also to everyone who made the effort to attend and travel long distances to make the cruise a success! Good to see some news faces and some old ones returning too.
Congrats to Rob for winning the trophy- AGAIN. Was thinking for next year we could have a second trophy for non-Pike family members for everyone else to have a chance of winning??? Especially as he is talking about getting his 240 ready for next year's meet!

cheers guys it felt good too ...Next year is goin to the big one for north island it is the 10th year there are plans off hiring out a place that have shellays on lake taupo for every one in one place ..

well we certainly enjoyed it .. big thanks to every one that organised the event this year and volunteered there houses and cooking skills and mohit for drumming it up .it was awsome to see some new faces from north and south big ups to you guys good effort hope to see you back next year .....
