Something else to consider, October 2017 is the 50th Anniversary of the Car that put Datsun on the World map.
The 510 was first released in Oct 1967, (just after me
) I think it would be fitting if we made a big thing of this and got some traction in the Press.
Having a Nationals focused on this and with some great events in a central location would be Awesome.

That is a very good idea. Maybe try to get some leverage on the whole anniversary thing to get a good turnout of 1600s. Hen hopefully owners of other datsuns will make sure they come so it's not dominated by 1600s. The 610 boys dealt to the 510 guys at the last NI labour weekend event!

2017 now - this needs a revisit. Ban any new cruises and get this off the ground.

Hey Brocky, yes is the main focus for this year, this will be the main event so start planning now to get the time off and get your cars sorted for a north island get together.
