Used my skills as a quantity surveyor to work out how much steel I would need and ordered it

nice rotisserie man ever thought about putting up a plan on the how to do page would help out a lot of people

Sweet deal I have Greg's aka Datto_610 oil motor stand I was thinking of using as a start but it looks like it could be holding my motor of the ground for a bit till i start working again :cry: :cry: :cry:

Nice spit roast mate

I made one for the wagon all those years ago and never looked back aye. Nothing worse than being on your back welding under a car.
Are you strippin the under side and seam welding it??

:agree: You got that right. I can't understand why or how people persever with out one. :crazy:

I know not everyone has the facilities to make one, but trust me they make life so much easier in the long run.

As for the stripping and seam welding, yea its getting completely stripped back and seam welded. Should make the old girl last another 40 years at least. :twisted:

Yeah i agree with ya bout why people persevere without one. If ya doin rust repairs or engine conversion you must have a welder and a grinder and thats all ya really need.
