Although I can not partake right now (or in the next 4-5 months) I would love to know more as I have two options for my car going forward.

isnt your 1600 running something silly like over a 14" rim? simply outrageous dont you know!!!! but will let everyone regardless of excessive rim sizing know my outcome once i sort it :) ............ its kinda up to wether i do all 4 or not...........

the front is outside the gaurd by 10mm which is fine, but the back is in by 10mm, and i want it matching, so 7.5s/8s are on the cards for the rear

any info greatly appreciated

I got quoted $125+gst to widen a 14" (outer band only) over here in from whitehorse industries and an extra $30+gst to polish.
Could be worth looking into?

Haha, even more outrageous, its running 17's. The Mrs is going to put them on her recently acquired 2003 Nissan Cube Family mover and I am going to acquire new rims. I just tried Dylan's 13s and they look like match box wheels on the 1600 (read: ridiculous / ugly). I am looking to run a 15inch rim.

17's on a Cube - thats outrageous, its smaller than a 1600 so it should be on 10's or less (wheelbarrow rims) going by what the small wheel guys want lol

15's with dish look awesome on a 1600.

Back to Lukes predicament - buying outer bands to get 10-15mm extra seems a bit off to me (each to there own)
Throw on a slip on spacer and it'll sit perfect.

Steel or alloy? I heard that there was guy in Darfield or somewhere doing steel bands for SSR's etc.
