I'm getting amped for Track day,Dyno day & Akaroa, so please excuse my over posting every detail. Helps me stay motivated.
Here you can see my hole in teh cover-look for socket and allen key, so i can tension my cam belt at operating temperature without having to do major surgery.
And from here it looks pretty good, needs test fire and up to operating temp

Car is on wheels, again at a respectable ride height about 25mm front wheel gap 40mm ish rear.
it looked dope wound all the way down at the back but still to get 70L of fuel load right at the back .
Car has been run up to temp a couple of times, no issuse from cambelt, new belt, tensioner, stud & lock washer did the trick
The whole time the car has been running mint with no TPS/Idle controls connected but runs like asshole when connected up so....
Did some diagnostics and fixed my rough running issue first i set base timing to 20deg and adjusted the tps=on idle/ignition timing map untill it ran sweet. another part of the issue was fuel cut was occuring too early and it was poping and banging and generally being a sack, so i bumped the fuel cut settings so starts re injecting fuel at 2000rpm instead of 1300 and this seems to have solved the rough running i get when i close the throttle.
Wheel Alignment booked on monday, my front right camber still seems a little off, however now that i know my strut isnt bent I have a replacement suspension arm to fit. turns out i have LHS suspension arm from 85 good car, and the RHS arm from my 84 parts car.
Once i pass alignment, I need to hurry the F&&K up and build some car Ramps and Im Officially ready for CERT

I have some small car ramps you could borrow James, just text Brendan. They are only about 250mm high tho. They're in the garage next to the bench

thanks Dudes.
Car is at Wayne's and if it happens or not its out of my hands now as i did all I could
I will be going there tomorrow and waiting around the whole day if i have to.
Really gutted to not attend dyno day, i drove the Z there and had no idea I would be taking the bus home.
It drove so mint on the way there, so much torque, corners so flat, sounds so mean.
