Cheers Wal - I really appreciate the feedback. I always come back to the fact that my wife will drive this car and it has to be spot on in the handling and safety department.

In other news i got started on fitting my bonnet pins today ( yes i know I'm not a fan of these either ) but my bonnet wiggling about makes me nervous since i already had a bonnet flip up on me. The holes made are small so it can be easily reverted back to no bonnet pins once my front end / panel alignment issues have been sorted.

Not really done any work on my own car lately !

But in between other peoples jobs i made a spare tire holder ( has 2 more fixing bolts and has been welded to replace hose clamps since that picture )

Also made 2 cargo tie down straps so that i can strap stuff onto and around the spare wheel

Whats the quality of them like? Im going to pin my bonnet but all the pins i've seen look "cheap"

For $22 at my door I am actually very surprised at how "not horrible" they are. They are quite small and don't look too bad and the mechanism seems to work just fine. They are no Flush mount Aero Catch but for the price they are better than expected.

well done man good to hear that another z31 turbo is going to be out rolling on the blacktop :thumbsup: .cert can be a nervous time ive got my sr20det powerd mk2 cortina going in for sert in three weeks lets see how that going to go atleast it has a nissan at its heart!.looks like youve done a realy good job on yours next time im up in chch with my z we could do a meet up?

As of Today its official

Went into Waynes and got my CERT plate riveted on

Got a fresh WOF, then went down to get some rego

100% legit and legal spec :D
