Ill support you Garth, as a kid I had always dreamt about a 4age powered 1200.

A 4age instead of an fj20 in a 1200 engine bay will certainly be a better handling package without the weight!!

Should change your title now

Putting the "make" aside the 4age is a awesome wee motor , slot it in a 1200 ute and without a doubt youll have a sweet driveable wee ride.

(Well ,youll without a doubt know this all ready. Just stating the obvious here)

im actually with your decision garth. i was just looking forward to a kick arse ute with an awesome mother fucker of an engine. but the 4age makes more sense, less weight, smaller size etc etc. it will still be a weapon, just in a different way

The daily runner is a 20v...gotta love them! Haha cheers for the support guys! Pretty sure with a nice bit of work and a tidy up a 4age would look fantastic under the hood :burnout:

If interested you can stick a 7afe block on it
4age pistons and 7a crank .

similar conversion to the dohc rb30

4age is an awesome idea for a 1200, it sounds like they're almost made for them as far as fitting goes. Are you going to use a t50 and convert to hydro clutch or try to use a cable k50??
