Nothing wrong with driveway paint jobs!
my 110 was painted in a nor-wester, on a wetted down gravel driveway
As long as the car is prepped well, and you have someone on the gun who knows what they are doing!
Paint is about 18 months old in this photo

Re: 82' 910 Bluebird
Wow man that looks good!
Yea ive got a mate who works for a painters in nelson here, he said he will spray it for $500 including paint.
Im going to get it all prepped myself. Its not that i dont trust him to do it,
but at least that way i only have myself to blame if it aint sraight as before the paint goes on...
On the sus/rims front:
-Ive found cobra springs thru my oppersition (BNT) 256+gst each pair
now that i have the part numbers i will be able to get a staffie price thru work! (Repco)
-I got a quote for a set of Black/Chrome lip sport max rims & tyres fitted for $1300 from U-save, as long as they are the right offset.
So does any one know where i should look to find the offset for my bluebird?

As far as I am aware Sport maxxs only come in 0 offset
You will struggle to get them on a 910. Most older rear wheel drive cars have factory offsets between +15 and +25
0 offset will rub or stick out from guards generally.
My rims on rear of my C110 (car in my avatar on left) are +6 offset and they JUST fit without hitting guards
Stick with factory colour they look the best anyway in my opinion. That way if you ever have to repaint a section it will look the same. If you start adding pearls it can be really difficult to match. Especially when most people go with 'a little of this, a little of that' mixture
