Its a pretty new clutch and it worked before with the other gearbox. Unless we damaged it when fitting but i cant see how we cud of done that. Must be the gearbox itself

did you use the same slave cylinder? or the one on the new box? if its the one on the new box check that its the same size as the old one.
Did you grease the spline of the input shaft before installing? were the "fingers" on the diaphram worn at all?
are you using the right fluid?

So need some help guy's. car seem's to be fucking about again. driving at normal speed/not boosting it's fine, but give it a bootful and it comes on boost strong then hits the wall hard at around 4000rpm, and sometime's it's higher like 5500rpm and it seem's to be one of these intermittent faults it's quite frustrating! it just looses power and is trying to go but it just cant, then next set of lights it runs sweet and just flys, then its playing up again!

have replaced a couple of leaking vacuum hoses but hasn't really made a difference. Unsure if it's a fuel pump / electrical issue or a mechanical one so any ideas? have had similar issues in past and just had to adjust timing slightly and new leads. it also run's really ruff on the first 10 15 seconds on a cold start up and i every now and then see the light on the computer on

just want to get some reliability from the thing as i have decided now that i want to hang onto it .
