Well I thought I better post a minor update, since my thread has dropped halfway down page 2.....

Not much achieved in last 3 weeks, but still more things checked off the ever decreasing list;

> Made up new custom spark leads from scratch (bitch of a job...) but looks pretty tidy
> My new customized driveshaft is away at my mates to get painted along with the panhard rod
> Bolted in drivers seat for anticipated cruise up drive way when I get drive shaft back
> Redrilled panhard mount holes & brought in 1/2" bolts to suit the imperial rod end bearings
> Clutch cable installed & adjusted
> Reset all my throttle body stops again & balanced all the linkages
> Fixed leaky brake line tee block on rear diff housing
> Cut down & shaped my diff bump stop to suit lowered car / bigger H165 diff head
> Polished up my headlight rings & fitted my new Raybrig H4 housings
> Filled diff with oil (ready to do a skid!)
> Fitted gear shifter & new rubber seals properly (Thanks Mint16 for pivot pin & circlip)
> Sound deadening starting to be fitted to rear wheel archs
> Designed / mocked up custom drive shaft safety hoop :(

Hope to get rear end & drive train finished off this weekend for good, leaving the only thing to sort the axle bump stops.
Also hope this means the first time the car will move under its own power since I have owned it (6 years+...) :burnout:

Has anyone got some Bump stop/curved plates that will fit under my U-bolts and wrap around H165 housing by any chance?
can always cut them down if need be. Failing that will get some aftermarket ones and get a new curved mount plate made up to mount them.

All going well off to get exhaust done, brake system checked & set up & maybe a dyno tune @ Rapid Performance in week or two... :dance2:

Yeah Reuben works there, he's busy tuning my mates car ATM, and when I checked with him a few weeks ago not many updates on the 510 haha

Last time I seen it was when he took me for a boost in it (just put the z18et in it) from his family's petrol station in Motueka with no windscreens etc lol. (~2000 ~13 years ago)

Anyway, enough polluting Kitch's thread.
