Stealth mode!

Satin black cooler pipes for extra awesome.

Also have 6x2.5'' T bolt clamps to get most of the I.C piping permanently fitted. Will go to MS Combes as advised by CUL8R to sort driveshaft after work tomorrow.

There's a guy there who owns a flat pink 68 510 with an FJ20et in it.
I've never met him, but a mates mate/brother in law works there, and he told me about it.
I saw it parked outside there once saturday morning too.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Alrighty. Went into MS Combes on friday after work to get a price for my driveshaft. News isn't great.. So the shafts that I have are notchy and the non replacable staked type uni's. The fella I was talking to said he would price me up a completely brand new driveshaft and give me a call. Got a call on saturday morning with not so good news for price. $737 + gst :o :o :o :o :o That's more than my head cost to get fixed! It was non obligation quote so went back in today to pick up the bits I left there on fri. He did show me the new joints they would use which run a much bigger and stronger uni joint than what was on my shafts at the moment. Going to go to Justin Neil Eng and get a price from him and maybe Circle Track but either way looks like I'll be dishing out many coins! Also many thanks to Kitch, the driveshaft hoop arrived today which was originnaly purchased from Craig @ Proparts. Very pleased with the quality can't wait to slap it in!

Maybe try hunt out another shaft with rebuildable joints?
New uni's are only $30 ish each.

That was my other plan. But just scoured trade me and nothing so far... It's going to be next to impossible to find a replacable uni joint shaft for my diff end!

Back in the day we used to restake them. Some guys welded washers in to act as stakes. Can be done, especially if you are having it rebalanced.
