A while back i got the fancy new Sub frame in. But i never managed to get anybody to finish off the adjustment bolts.

John is a legend and came to party and got the slots milled out for me and Greg.

So here is how they look all fitted up with the adjusters.

So the bolts are back in Greg's hands to get plated up, and i have worked out that to get the drivers side inner bolt on i actually have to remove the diff or lift it up to get enough angle to slide it in there.

So I sealed up the 2 way, and that's ready to go back in once the plated bolts come back.

It feels good to finally get on top of all these 3/4 finished jobs.

Those slots are quite wide.
I'd be running washers underneath the heads of those pins if I were you.

I have finally fixed all the stupid problems i have had

LSD is back in he car & totally silent in operation
All the rear suspension has been final installed with all the camber and toe adjustment and I'm really stoked with how its going.

With the drive line under control I can focus on the Turbo Upgrade & Inter cooler upgrade.

As Kids said, its begging for a bigger turbo :burnout:

Pulled the turbo today and had a wee poke around.

My suspicions of a failing Thrust bearing were confirmed when I checked the end float and it went clonk clonk.

this aligns up with the high "manifold back pressure" readings i have been seeing on the gauges.

I think I'm leaning towards

Starting with this

Fitting this 60-1 cold side
60-1 upgrade.JPG
and throwing one of these 360 thrust bearing kits at it.

it is a Greedy RZ copy, from inspection it appears to be fairly well made I would be hard pressed to tell it was fake. For $20 I'm willing to give it a stab.

And if the sale goes through I hope to pick this up in the weekend

Don't flame me about the turbo, I'm going off a recommendation with somebody with first hand experience of the product. Which is good enough for me.

He's the guy I bought the replacement crankshaft for my motor from. He runs Rapid Performance, seemed like a good dude.
