Your far to kind Vaughan,I just do the cutting Ive swapped labour with a mate to get all the really sexy welding done,heres some of his amazing work on the rear subframe.Theres only front diff,anti sway bar mounts still to weld on then its off to crack testing.classicdat wrote:Awesome work John, inspirational. Made a few good steps forward this weekend,Trev came round and finished the subframe welding so thats off to crack testing tomorrow.Got the front antisway bar mounts sorted,rear brake hose mounts welded to the chassis,surge tanks finished and tons of other small jobs done.
I hope they dont charge out the crack testing per weld,theres a few on here

For my next trick I will weld this hump into the boot floor,its hard to see how high it is in the pics but its high enough that I have to remodify my fuel tank
