Not to worry. I've got my head around it now.

Just wondering if anyone can help me with finding some grease catchers like in the right of this pic? Also anyone know part numbers and whether they interchange between H145/H150/H165?

Thanks

You mean the gold zinc plated pressed stampings that used to go inside the backing plates?
H150, and H165 should all be the same.

Yep thats the one. Part number on mine is 43234-18400.

The axle seal ain't that flash, hence looking to replace. Looks to be replaceable as a whole component (the grease catcher and inner seal) which is different to the parts book which suggests they are different parts, but then the part number is different to what the manual says it should be (manual says 43234-04101)

43234-18401 (note the 1 digit difference) is a roadster part which seams quite similar. I am wondering if I can just replace with a datsun 1200 part (or newer) and if so, who might stock something so I can go match up.

Thought I would freshen up the brake package, I found that the Stanza 232mm front rotors are difficult to find in New Zealand, but the 910 Bluebird 250mm rotors aren't. so decided to upgrade. All that is required is to fit the 910 Rotors and caliper assemblies to my Stanza struts which incidentally seem the same.
The 910 caliper mounts are slightly taller and the pistons are slightly larger, going from 51mm piston to 54mm piston. A breakdown of the parts shown below and the difference although small is a relatively easy upgrade. Actual brakepad size stays the same DB225 (910) as apposed to DB345 (Stanza)

Good work Damo! I thought you already had 910 bluebird struts but I guess not...

Wow Happy Birthda GB120, First development in a long time Damo. Love this wee truck.
I notice the height is a bit different, are the calipers a different profile? Hope the won't cause you clearance issues

The calipers sit further out, but I run 15's so have plenty of room :D
