There was a guy a couple of years back that came second place in the american "Riddler" hot rod competition, he did a 2k candy pearl in his 2 car garage with dirt driveway outside. He came second because his door jams on his boot didn't match top and bottom or something?

I have fixed my alternator probs now 8-)
...I ended up rebuilding at home myself lol

But, now i have another issue... while trying to sort an intermitant parkligfht issue late tuesday night (needing to get home in a hurry...)
The back of my ignition barrel fell th peices... :o
After attempting to but it back together (while the lights decided they wanted to work all of a sudden...) i realized that it was actualy held together with a zip tie in the 1st place!?!

So i now have a permantly hotwired Bird' lol
The steering lock still works perfectly, and switches all hidden...

So... Does anyone have a ignition barrel they are willing to part with??

I know how to switch it all over n get it back to how it should be.

Im back! (Finally got the net again...)

Sorted my Parklight issue, i pulled the switch electrics of the steering coloum and cleaned them all up with the trusty old CRC and a bit of 1200 grit sand paper.
Works like a dream now...

Im in need of a Dizzy.
Mine has got about 20tho of play, and is missing on the 1st cylinder :(

Ive bought new rotor, cap, points and condensor. but she still running like a bag of S*#t

Guys, ive got to a point where im needing a mass opinion from you all..

Do I...

A: Keep my datto standard, and restore her to the way she came? :highfive:
(Factory standard)

or B: Do i build her to the way it should have been?
(Flared guards, lowered, deep dish, louvers, tints, custom interior/sounds and a re-power... Sr or RB?)

For both i will be taking my sweet time to do it 'Right' 1st time

I want to hear what you guys think... 'A' or 'B' ??

(Any ideas for the 'B' option are more than welcome!)

Thats 3/3 for option 'B' so far

Any ideas on a re-power tho? whats the safest and most reliably option?
I want to keep her Datsun/Nissan (None of this 'cross breeding')

I'm swinging towards SR20DET because they are reliable, and fairly easy to get into a N910 engine bay...

I work with Kendall (the nelson cert guy) at repco, and he has told me if i go SR etc, i only have to upgrade the brakes (i plan on this anyway if i go option 'B') and a drive shaft tunnel loop.

I've recently acquired a set of steely rims with 2 near new tyres, and 2 'still legal' ones. :burnout:

The best part is whats on them!

What do you think?

The best part was the price! $40!

Got all the other parts eg: Cap, points, condenser and leads.
Unfortunately the rotor i got was the wrong one  , so i will be heading into work (Repco) tomorrow to sort the right one! :dance2:
