If you want it done straight away not over a few months. You can defiently count out me,nick, mush as we all have full time jobs and cars of our own.
Whoever if you got the money take it to a restoration shop. They also take awhile but work on it full time. Like you said though your a drainlayer without the paycheck so that wont be a option either.
Buy a mig and a 100 cut off discs and alot of sheetmetal and good luck

i figures you guys would be in hot demand either with other peoples cars or your own after checking out your build threads....!!!

dreams are free i suppose but things are looking up, had several people look at it now and say they would be keen...... they all just wanted to give me an estimate first before committing to it fully...

Hey dude - Just give Hamish Collison (i cant remember his username on here, Brassmonkey will know) a call and he will either get you into line for the restoration shop he works for - or will put you onto someone that will be a good enough "restorer" not just a "repairer".

Trust me i know what its like to have the $$$ and have stuff done by repairers and not good old school restorers.

Good luck and keep trying the good ones first sometimes its hard to get them to take you seriously and believe you can afford their work done fast - rather than a long drawn out ordeal like they usually end up.

Keep us updated thou dude - is a good base car you have.

i dont know what inner clearance means....... when sitting in place they sit inside the rear guards by maybe 5mm at most? if you mean how close are they to brake drums then .......... they dont hit.......? might have been maybe 40mm clearance?

yea lip is actually quite neat, wanted starsharks so bad but reality is, anyone who has them will not let them go. i figure someone had same issue as me so got some made up with that tasty 3ish inch lip to suit!

Good thing they weren't SSR's, she might have run off with them

Surprised at how good the steel in those rear guards looks, was expecting more rust based on what the front looks like. Hope you left plenty of $$$ in the kitty for panel and paint after paying for those wheels!
