Got my inter cooler brackets built, split some nice vac line and cable tied it to all the sharp edges and made things nice on the inside too. Looks pretty legit bumper isn't cut , neither is any of the sheet metal on the car. I'm very pleased how clean it turned out.
the bumper is a bit of a squeeze to install, that's because I insisted on having 2.75 inch cold side piping. It would have worked better as 2.5 but of well.

You're doing it wrong James. You're supposed to mount it so that one side is hanging down low, and only have it held in by the hoseclips on the intercooler!

Doing some Preparation to the Engine bay so I can get these headers fitted up.
Made a start by stripping back the top end of the engine so i can relocate the fuel filter & heater lines.
While i was there i figured i Would fit up some nice Valve cover fittings for 3/4 lines going to twin Moroso Style catch tanks - Thanks for the sweet deal on parts Craig !
This is the parts even through they will arrive in a couple of days time
The engine is looking a bit sad, but at least its lo cost motor

Getting serious now.
Absolutly fizzing dosn't come close to covering it.
Some ovious issues to be sorted with the brake master cylinder and some new brake lines need to be made up. But to be fair, these were made on the bench and for them to fit that close to the first time around is almost a miracle.
The drivers side is hitting on an exhaust stud that needs shortened down so the clearance issues may not be as bad as shown in the photo.

Bloody hell James that looks great!
You may need to invest in some heat deflecting material to place along the firewall as things will get pretty hot.
Can't wait to see this beast in the flesh.
Cheers
Dave

yeah, it pretty much goes where the old crossover pipe went
They will be ceramic coated internally and externally, and I will need to make up a couple of heat sheilds and invest in a decent length of fire sleeve so i can cover up wiring harness connectors and things.
