When do you hope to have it all road worthy/legal etc?

Stoked mate!!
I think you need a nice stainless exhaust now though.
Its the only old part on this master piece.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Yes I did wake up this morning with the smile still firmly etched on my face...
Andy; yeah the exhaust is just an interim thing at the moment, its the old one off my sedan (slightly modified)
also the heat wrap on the headers look a mess already... so want to HPC them down the track too. a S/S exhaust
will make it sound even more animal than it is - sounds more like a motorbike than car already
Ginge; I hope to have on the road in summer, although when I rang my mate last night, to double check he was ready for his trailer back and take delivery of the coupe for final paint he bumped me a fortnight...
I hope this is not going to snowball. as I have the bank loan for paint bout to come through, so want it in and out in next 2 months if possible, to give me time to complete fitout and cert & comply before Xmas (or Akaroa would obvious;y be nice!)

Well done Kitch,
Impressive indeed. Must be well and truly stoked to have it going so well after putting the hours and headaches along the way, knowing you've truly built not bought!
I had my headers done here; Dave
http://www.elitepowdercoating.co.nz/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; good to deal with and wasn't too costly.
Came up really really nicely. Look sharp.
Curious as to why you got the car aligned before having it complete ? All the additional parts will affect the values - camber and toe.

Cheers for that Chris. will keep that in mind for when I re-do exhaust
and to answer your curiosity; this car was stripped down entirely with every nut & bolt removed,
I have assembled it myself with, modified suspension, new brakes, bushes, bearings, ball joints etc,
and before I threw it on a dyno or no doubt hammer it up the road, I wanted it set up to be safe,
and not crab walk off the dyno, or have a wheel fall off!
besides all the steering rods were hand tight, and it had 10.8mm of combined toe in!
