Cheers Wal

Went a step futher and Mr angle grinder paid a vist to Mr Bonnet.

This is the result

The reinforcement piece shown below will sit on the underside, this one is just a mock up to see that it will work. 2 Doors is going to make up a set for me ( because im unco and sheet metal is his thing !!)

Bare Metalled the bonnet, I've been spraying the Etch primer in sections. I'm just masking off one area at a time, hand sanding all the little bits of paint i missed with the stripping disck. Then hitting it by hand with 80 grit to key the surface up. Then wax and grease remover with clean cloths. It looks significantly better than what it was.

Lookin good dude,

Will you be able to run the pop up headlight covers at night (do they pop up above them or will they upset the light beam) or just for aero during the day :)

hey brocky , cheers dude

For the light covers they pop up above them but not fully.

the finished set will be clear with maybe the slightest tint to therm so i Don't get in trouble. Ive made them so they are fast to remove.

You sure you are going to have enough height to not distort the light pattern?

Wof guy said bring it on over to check it out on that machine. He said if it dosnt refract at dodgy angles then it's fine. He said that the Oem headlight itself can't be modified which it isn't.

If you have a big board or a wall, you can check it on that.
