Cheers guys, I'm happy with how it has turned out

Akaroa was a blast and I'm stoked the B made it all the way down and back with no problems...more than 2000 kms over the long weekend

Cheers for the ride in your car Bart, that thing is freakin' awesome! I'm glad mine is a little more streetable though, I think I may have gone deaf if I had to drive yours from the North Island

I may have to look into getting some adjustable camber tops to get rid of some of the positive camber. I think I heard that S13 ones work?

Talked to my old man and he thinks that my car has always had a vibration at ~85 - 95 km/h so I'm thinking that it might be my driveshaft or something. I'll have to jack it up and check all the universals and whatnot I guess.

Usually worn out UJs get worse the faster you go. Maybe have the balance checked?

In recent news I've added an additional spring to the throttle body on the Z18ET, as the throttle had a tendency to stick on and make the car idle high. It seemed to fix that so I'm happy.

I've got the 610 jacked up in the garage at the moment and it looks like I'll need to replace the idler arm bushes as they are nonexistant

The idler arm bushes finally arrived so now I'm driving this to work everyday as usual.

Wicked!

Niiice, I am very jealous!

All you bastards with nice Datsuns and turbo motors are making me not want to put the L Series back in and finish off building the Fj20et back up.

Hope you are enjoying it :)

Turbo EFI power is pretty satisfying :burnout:

However, I love the simplicity of the L series as well, which is why I'm not in any hurry to change the engine in my wagon. I reckon you should enjoy the easy trouble-shooting and empty engine bay of an L series while you can

The L series is as complex as the bugatti Veyron engine when compared to the A series! (Aye Mr Dirty Leppa?!)
