hey man when is the derby?

Thanks guys got a little bit to go before this saturday night - cant wait to get it drifting like it should be

What an awesome night!

was pretty much packing myself when we all rolled out - no rear view mirrors were alowd so if you stopped you didnt know what was coming .

The light goes green and were off - straight into 2nd gear and got a couple of laps in revving out in second down the straights.

First red light (remember only rear brakes) couldnt stop in time and slammed the back of something.

Off again but now only have half throttle, i thought the engine had come back on the linkages but was still going ok so carried on heaps of grip on the clay track - so was full (half) throttle for the rest of the race.

Cars going everywhere - car rolled in front of me next car stopped before him but mighty 260c wasnt slowing up - nailed the back of a commodore at about 45kph.

Thought it was all over but gave it a rev and we were off again FL tyre rubbing away on the guard - getting passed by a few cars including a Austin 1100 - remember half throttle .

a few laps later the white flag came out for the car right in front of me so one to go and stayed with him till the flag.

What an awesome event and we even pushed 3 cars back to pits and drove it back onto trailer.
as we were loading up the officials came over and said i had to go to the office as i had got 2nd place - they must have just chose the two cars behind the 1st place car yayyayayayay

heres some pics from befor and after the throttle prob was the linkage on the firewall had popped out and just lucky there was a vacumn line there to catch it so i had some throttle

yea dude we got $200 for second place - the next one 30th Jan and yea we will sort the linkage so it dont come out and beat the front out for some more racing.
