Re: The datsun garage
been a bit slack with the updates on this thread so here are a couple of pics of stuff ive done this year.
this is my brother in laws 300 zx, he took the rear boot spoiler off and it left a weird looking indent in the factory boot lid, so I fabbed up a new panel, to fill in the rear.
This little chevette, has had a twin cam isuzu motor shoe horned in, it will be running twin down draft webbers, and needed the radiator support panel to be panel beaten where the motor fell on it , cut bigger for a larger radiator, a hole in the bonnet for the carbs to poke through, and an hsr style bonnet bulge, which came up pretty good, considering it was made from one piece of sheetmetal, it was a bitch to weld, as it needed constant cooling to stop warpage from the heat.
and some random north island dude turned up with this sweet little wagon, which needed a little rust cutting ,before being prepped for paint.
massive ups to Brendan and dattochriswagon for their help with the bogging and blocking to get this in undercoat on friday.

Re: The datsun garage
lol you dont need to weld steel into those hatches for the z32, you can get a "3rd brake light" strip that goes into the hatch so you dont need a gay ass 3rd brake light in the back window for when you take the spoiler off.
