The big cert day was today,I was pretty nervous coz Wayne had been through the whole project with me and now Don was gonna see the car for the first time.He came back with a small list,one of the points I was busy correcting at work today anyway and one of the others was balding rear tyres so nothing really.I'm pretty stoked right now!
Here's what needs to happen
-New tyres
-wheel/hub locators for the rear.which i machined today anyway
-Small heat shield between the exhaust and a section of brake line
-He needs info on the rod ends I used in front/rear suspension arms
All that should be done by weeks end!i can't believe it!
A huge thank you to everyone whos helped on the project and all the folk on here for support and motivation!

Should've said John, we have a big box of the CBL rings at work, some alloy too!
It'll be even nicer on the new rubber, more appeasing to the eye!
That's a rather small and somewhat rather minor list, I guess that's one way of looking at the quality of the workmanship shown throughout the build!

Come on guys, due to popular vote can't we let him stay? Please please, some of us haven't seen this master piece yet. Give him Grace till the top of the South Cruise?

LEGAL!!!! today this thing became wof'd and reg'd! I cant believe it.A massive thanks to all the superb people who helped on this project and to all the folk on here for advice,parts and support. I'm buzzing. Unfortunatly I cant make it on the southern cruise this weekend but I'm looking foward to my first NZdatsun cruise in the cedric for 5 years.
I'm off to drive it!
