Would need flares on the rare or stretched tyres might just cut it.

Just some ideas off the top of my head.

Bare metaling the inside of the doors, took hours coz of all the old shit on them

December 2011 022.jpg
Just got to wait for the sheet metal shop to open up again next monday so i can get a couple of patches made up for the bottom of the gaurds

Got two more doors, front pannel, scuttle pannel, bonnet hinges, front pannel support all sprayed this mourning and am going to put them on now

more painting 003.jpg
more painting 002.jpg
Also went and saw bodyline pannel n paint in gore this mourning and they're doing me a good deal on painting the outside of the car, so the plan is to have it to them by the end of the month. The plan is they're going to base coat it in white tonner, then pearl white then clear coat ontop, they said it should buff up real bright!

Chrome fender mirrors showed up this mourning, look mean on it though the mount is only slightly smaller than the factory one  which means im going to have to shave of the old mounts and drill new ones, shouldn't be to hard though

got my new gaurd bottoms folded up so we can hopefully finish the gaurds in the next week. Am picking up the paint next thursday and with luck could hopefully drop the car off at the painters the following monday :D :D , still abit to do yet though
carbs 001.jpg
Also, my new carbs showed up today  44mm solex mukini sidedrafts should liven the l16 up
also came with a new a series manifold which is better than mine so it can go on the 1200
carbs 004.jpg
Mocked them up on the moter with my new extractors and had to run spacers between the carb and manifold because they were fouling, also have to trim abit of the linkage between the carbs off as it hits on the manifold, but apart from that they're going to work mint

abit of progress over the last few weeks, finally got the whole underside finished and painted. So i then got the diff, springs etc sand blasted, then painted them, installed new trw brake shoes, new fluids etc and installed them all back in the car with new 2"blocks, am going to get the leafs re-set at some point, but i don't know how much lower i want it because its been so long since i gutted it out.

Anyway some pics

apart from that have been just trying to finish the panneling so i can get it to the paint shop, picked up a new bonnet last weekend coz mine was stuffed, and after stripping 10 layers of paint of it i discovered it was in pretty mint condition, so pretty happy about that. also Picked up all the paint for the outside of the car on thursday and the bill came to $664, which i didn't think was to bad for white 2 pak pearl

You still looking for wheels, I got these, not very wide but that means you could run lower without rubbing ;)
Still quite a cool looking wheel. Come with new tyres too. Not after much
