Hope to have it in Palmy North over xmas for an engine conversion (hopefully)... could do a catch up then

Those steelies would have looked mint black with some white walls. Current setup looks mint too.

How hard is it to re-build an engine from reading, tinkering and asking questions over this site ... 1st option is definitely do it myself but 2nd would be get some bloke in? What ya'll think.
I have a worked 12a engine and 60a 5speed in the North Island that I want in the ute. looking to bring it back to the South Island over Xmas period
