1. What Bart said about the swaybar bracket. I'd just remove some length to stop it fouling and fit a big-ass washer, with a flat ground on it for clearance as you suggested. The bolt hole at the other end will stop it from shifting around anyway. A certain German manufacturer only uses one bolt with the other end having a tab pushed into a slot in the body and they don't see a problem with it...

2.With the radiator you need some of those rubbery cotton-reel shaped mounts to mount it to the body while isolating it as well so there's no way current can be conducted to it from the body and it won't vibrate the alloy to the point where it weakens and breaks. Also get some foam rubber tape of the right thickness and stick it between the rad and body so there are no gaps air can get around. This will improve cooling efficiency a lot.

Those swaybar links looks really nice. Now I think I need some too!

Great progress, I'm feeling very ashamed of myself now (well more than usual anyway).

my biggest concern with removing material is that it may not be up to a wof standard?

with the radiator i have 2mm rubber washers between steel and alloy to isolate or is this not enough? hoping to sort all radiator issues today

WOF standard you say? Why, that's what big-ass washers are for, my boy! You could cut and weld them easily enough if you were paranoid about it.

And no, those rubber washers aren't enough. You need some of these. You can buy them at Blackwoods Paykels or maybe Para rubber even.

Luke,
Those sway bar saddles- just use the standard ones and go to BNT and get a Whiteline plastic bush with a bigger I.D to take the bigger diameter 120Y swaybar.( take the standard ones in as a sample)

gonna modify penny washers but leave the clamp in place, its never moving.

ran my battery cable through the car today, refitted my dash, and bought some 1mx1m carpet tiles from bunnings that i have cut to suit false boot floor. lewis is sending my side boot panels up hopefully very soon.

Cusco strut brace arrived yesterday morning. ordered bprojects silicon heater hoses. buying a coil and ballast resistor today, hopefully can locate bracket somewhere.
brendan came round and fixed my door internals last night so i can finish the drivers door

Very neglected coupe over the last weekend as i had the swapmeet.
However i did perk a mint set of twin weber 40s with air filter boxs plus a box of jets/needles/goodies for a very nice price that may end up on coupe if dellortos arent okay....

Picking up coil bracket and front brake lines this arvo, and new fuel pump tomorrow morning courtesy of josh at bnt.
Finally found 1 brake m/c shim im getting wal to copy, dropping off today. hopefully bart had time over the weekend to turn down hubs

Week and a half is cutting it fine, nobody can judge the non matching shit or the shocking amount of temporary things iv done to hopefully make this cruise.

Good effort Luke. If you are stuck for a fuel pump I will have one to tide you over. But you will need to remove it from the engine.

Starting next week I too will be doing some shit that is less than ideal to get my car moving forward. Good luck making the nats!
