I like the new motor choice! There has definitely been a swing back to A/L series motor choices recently.

hey all, did a big mission on sunday, went round to mum and dads for mothers day and came home with the 2door on a trailer, took some pics but they are more upsetting than exciting, its been under cover for the last 3 years, but the rain has still seeped in and because I hadn't drilled any drain holes anywhere, it had water in the boot and cabin area.
its not a huge deal, just looks a real mess, but nothing a days work wont sort out, im welding up a Austin healey chassis this week , and once ive finished that and picked up my block and head from bart, I can start to fabricate my turbo manifold and inlet.
and on the good news front, I found my brake lines hidden among the treasures in the car, I was sure id thrown them out, so that will be one job I wont have to re-do.

PROGRESS YAH! today I did a mission all round town, went to pick a part looking for a throttle body and 350cc injectors out of a p10 primera, but alas they don't have any p10 sr20,s there.
I have found out since that some Hondas run the top mount 350cc injectors, so will get back out next week and have a look again if something else doesn't turn up (see wanted section).
got a throttle body, and then went to steal and tube, and picked up my mandrel bends, I rung them a week ago to see if they did them, and they assured me they had some, forgot to ask the price, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they are ONLY $3 or so each, they are 3mm thick and come in 45 90 and 180 deg sections, they also have a TIGHT RADIUS 45 deg .

stopped by my old place of work and down loaded the file from the tech section for the waterjet to cut some manifold flange.
have ordered 2 so if someone else wants one I will have a spare for sale.

My A14 has been picked up from Barts today, and the really really exciting news is I bought a garret turbo, and my megasquirt turned up today,
The instructions are very easy to read and follow, although the colour code on one wire is wrong . but very easy to work out.
ill take a couple of pics tomorrow of the flanges and things.

yeah, its a bit embarrassing that Im only at 10 pages , I finished welding the Austin Healey chassis this morning, we are heading out of town for the weekend, but hope to put the car in the shed sometime next week, id like to get it on the hoist and sort out all the fuel lines and brake lines under the car, over the next month or so, and of course I need to start the fab on the manifolds, so will need the block and head sitting in place for that too.
