battery into boot

ive put my battery in my boot but before i took the old engine out for got to look were the wires went does it just run to the starter motor ?

positive terminal straight to the starter motor yep

dont understand your question lol
battery cable goes from battery, to the starter motor. there should also be another wire attached to the same terminal on your starter that supplies power to the rest of the car

was just meaning how to wire that as there wasnt one before but i think that explains it cheers

haha, I dont think my comment explains how to wire up an ECU at all :lol:
Is this for the Z18ET? I have wired one up before, and am going to give a guy a hand up north island in a week doing that engine.
I have wiring diagrams if you need them

yeah its for my z18et but it has the ca computer but yeah would be keen too see that or grab a copy to see if my mate can do it

ok.....so your running a Z18ET, on a CA18 ecu, with ca18 loom?
did you do this yourself? or do you have haydens old motor from Dunedin? If so, you wont need a full diagram, there should just be a point in the loom with 6 or so wires hanging out near the ecu, hopefully Hayden kept them labelled or something (I did the loom for him)
