Nice car, and nice color! I have to do a paintjob myself on my 140J. Can I ask you what color code that is? Really like that color... :)

not 100% sure, my panel beater found a local painter who some old mix data for old school colours (think it was 'Siba' paint system)
we then had a test panel painted by him, and my painter matched to that in newer paint system (I think we using PPG?)

I have been trying to find a color, but I think it's so difficult when you only have a color sample with the size of a stamp...
I've been reading more of your thread today with great interest, and I saw you mentioned "Sun bright red #932". You are pretty sure that's the one? Looks very good on your photos, but provides pictures the right impression of the color, if you know what I mean?

Yeah I was looking for that colour description for you this morning....

Yeah its hard to judge in photos, as some photos it looks quite orangey, but its really just a solid red.

My boss just got his corvette painted in 1985 C4 red colour and that is very similar, to the untrained eye, google red 1985 corvette, and you will get more of an idea
