So been browsing this forum for a while, adding my two cents here and there and thought its time to post one of my cars. I put it up on another datsun website so most of whom have probly seen it. To date the whole lot cant of cost more than $500 with initial cost of rolling body being $100. I owe alot to my cousins for hooking me up pretty much every thing.
Found a hole which we fixed.
Red = freebee panels.
Found this trawling the net
So thats my first datsun. Its all ready for a WOF but I have little money while studying and coming to winter Il slap it in the garage so the shite Wellington rain leaves it alone.

Spoke to my old man about knocking up a chin spoiler as hes pretty good with fibre glass and I should hope fully get a pair of fender mirrors on my next trip north.
Unfortunately I cant run those rims as the rears a 9 inch wide and sit about 25mm out the gaurd. Pics have the 8s on. Looking at either new replica "starsharks" 13/7 0-offest or theres a set of 13/6 and 13/7 enkeis on trademe that I know would suit it.
Preffer staggered offset so will keep saving.

Running the 9s on the back would mean I cant go low and want to leave the gaurds alone. I know you south island boys love your flares
Only way around it would be a slightly narrowed diff which Im pretty sure can be done with out touching the axles?
Il take some pics to show you. Wheels suit it.
I also scored another lot of parts. I now have 4 spare front panels all of which are not the best, some tidy front/rear bumpers, grills, front lenses and pedal boxes etc.

no flares. just pump the guards a little.
actually i think 13x8j -3 on the front
and 13x9 -14 on the rear would be best.
for example

Ugly duckling huh
That datto is bad ass.
Did we not get ones with the side indicator that shape? Looks better.
13s look mint and in 8s n 9s is even better. I just got to ring some one about 13/6 and 13/7 to see what he wants and failing that Il be looking to get some thing wider.
