Hey guys n girls, Im Alex and this is my new datsun wagon project I have going
The engine wasn't running when i got her but so far i've bought a new fuel filter, ignition leads, plugs and re done the timing.
Tomorrow morning im getting my diff housing welded up because the guy who owned it before me blew the diff resulting in a hole wrecked spider gears, so a new diff nugget and she'll be able to move on her own!

I'll be happy to come along once i get running
and was thinking CA18DET repower eventually but havn't got that sorta money lying around to do that but im happy with the 2litre beast for now but the first thing on my list is trying to find another diff head to fit.
At the moment it has a 120y diff which sits wayy to far forward in the arch :S so its back in with the original diff
But other than that i was wanting to get chrome bumpers front and rear with
gloss black paint, lowered with modgies

so its running a sunny diff housing or diff head? i do have a spare 910 wagon diff head i was keeping as a spare, but if you are desperate for one, im sure we can sort something out.
if you need a hand with it let me know and ive also got a manual it you need to know anything.
agree with the standard engine being not too bad. once you get them running properly, they go pretty good.
ive also got a spare chrome trimmed rear bumper lying around to.
im sure im not gonna be the only one to say this, but please dont put modgies on it

haha, thanks but i've only just been to the library to get the manual out
it was never running with the 120y, the guy before me just put it in but its too short.
But that diff head would help me out a heap if your sure you could part with 'er then i'd be able to get the wagon moving and pretty close to a wof
Bit of rust work to do at the bottom of the two rear side windows aswell, what wheels would you suggest go on it?

anything from the below pic really
im just a bit biased towards the way the japanese do things, especially wheel wise
failing that, minilites should suffice or widened steels

i might hold on the wheels decision for now till i find the right look.
Will having the car on its wheels with no diff head damage the axels?
