Is it wrong to get excited over finding old stuff?
Im not the only one and Flauski and I are definately the same. So I went to auckland and while picking up my trademe purchase I found the holy grail. An old boy wrecked japanese cars and had picked up alot of new/old stock items over the years. I asked for first option on any thing datsun so hoping he gets some pics to me and Il post em up here. Words cannot describe what I seen. It was awesome.
He said he had some new 1600 stuff which I will get pics of. Found heaps of new light surrounds still in nissan boxes. rubbers. lights. grills. front panels.
There was even a 180b coupe with no cracks in the dash but it had a car on top so it was pretty gone.
I came away with some fender mirrors and a new rear quater for the wagon so pretty happy at a cost of $11

i think everyone on here is like that. i can walk around in a paddock full of cars all day long, looking for that one piece that eludes us all

not wrong at all. I can look at old shitters all day long, and usually take hours when picking up parts and stuff, cause im busy talking about cars etc. i

Auckland, He asked me to hold off giving his number as he will be sorting stuff over next few weeks. He has toyota stuff as it looks he wrecked mainly toyota. There was alot of random stuff there and was kind of like Flauskis post in "cars in paddocks"
There was a TA22 celica which had front damage. couple old silvias, 2 rx7s, ke20 wagon and sedan, mid 80s carina or corona. Seen 2 18rgs under a shelf. I wish I had been earlier as wanted to go through all the panels as I need one for my mark 2.
I would recomend going if you can. I drove 8 hours so tga wont be so bad.

I feel so excepted right now. Heres hoping he is true to his word and gets some pics to me. I found a full set of door skins for a 120y sedan but he wouldnt let me take as I had no money on me.

Im pretty sure me and my cousin have just got back from the same place bought the red series one RX Seven off him for $800
