weight difference between A12 and A15 engines

does anyone know if there is a weight difference between the A12 and A15. The guy i know that is after an A12 reckons it is lighter than the A15 hence he doesn't want an A15.

A12 is 87kg. A15 is 93kg.

A12=87KGS
A15=93KGS
weight with 8kg flywheel on and clutch and pressure plate

Putting the A12 flywheel on the A15 should make the difference minimal.

I thought both flywheels were very similar in weight. Although the A12 flywheel is easier to lighten.

yes Brent, according to our friend Ray, a12 flywheels are 24lb, and a15 flywheels are 25lb.

My A14 flywheel was significantly heavier than my A12.
