Heres some pics of the new edition, some people have seen it - ill put up some details soon (just had to get pics up haha)
1980 - Nissan Laurel Medalist - its in pretty good nick for its age - have found no rust so it must have been garaged most of its life.
Features include:
Electric Pillar-less Windows
Small map reading light - similar to "Fancy" light in the glorias
L20E - Injected 6
Wheels colour coded to the pinstiping - haha
Climate Air Conditioning - no on off switch for air con - does it itself - damn thats modern
Radio tune and volume from rear seat
Power Steering
Lush as seats
Wood Grain recessed rubber stripes
Independent Disk brake rear end
Central Locking etc etc etc
Currently de-reg - old owner let it lapse - was last reg and wof in '08 - being a medalist i would say that it was the top spec model in the laurel range (correct me if im wrong).
Plans are to get it revinned etc and back on the road - needs front screen and a few other minor things doing that i know of.
Will be awesome cruiser for the akaroa cruise - it drives really well for a tank and gets up and goes alright too.
