Naseby car show.

I've been asked to post this up on our forum.
Paul from the Japanese classic car club (aka the jap crap car club) Sent me the following info.

Fri 15th: Depart CHC at midday and travel in convoy to Oamaru, first stop KFC. Then first beer at Dunback which is past the Palmeston turn-off on 'The Pig Root'. This is about 1 hour away from Naseby. Camp-up and do the local pubs in Naseby.
Sat 16th: Meet in the morning and say afternoon at St Bathans http://images.travelpod.com/users/alian ... athans.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (about 30kms from Naseby) via main and shingle road.
Sun 17th: Do the Car Show in the morning then travel up to The Danseys Pass in the afternoon (approx 20kms on shingle road)
Refer: http://www.southernattractions.co.nz/ce ... nseys-pass" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and if the road pemits we'll go over the pass to Kurow on the way home or if not turn back and travel back home via The Pig Root.
Note: All these things are interchangeable!
If there's nothing happening at the show we have plenty of places to go.
It'll be a bloody great long-weekend on the South Islands best driving roads and it's best pubs!

There are some sweet roads down that way. I don't know if anyone would be interested, (After all it is very close to the Akoroa cruise) But for the hardy folk it might be a blast.
