Hey, any chance of a picture of it? Do you know if it's a B or C type gearbox? B will have the gearstick held in with a clevis pin type thing, C type gearboxes are like RB gearboxes and there is a removable plate around the gearstick.

Will get a picture of it this week for you, and yup its definitely a B type.
