Yes been and seen him before he wants $200 a brake line so they will stay there .
If i knew if r31 IRS rear ends where the same I'd just get a set of them Trademe has then for $200 a set so i should get them cheaper through work if not is the good old rubber ones :) .

for a road car, new rubber ones would be more than enough, while still being cheap. if you do want braided lines try safe r brakes, but they can also be a bit of a pain. i would personally go through undercar and commercial in hornby. they do good quality work and are generally cheap. they can do both certified rubber and braided hoses.

be aware of the ones on trademe as they may not meet NZ standards and could be a waste of money

They say they meet DOT standards i thought that was sweet with VTNZ ???
I had braided lines on my old 180b don't know if it was because they were shiny but i swear i could tell the difference .
Good brakes beats horse power in the twisty stuff and i wont have lots of horse power

I believe they not only have to be DOT compliant but also meet the standard of MVS 102 something or rather
and each hose has to be labeled with it to pass wof

if you have a read of the WOF VIRM online it pretty much tells you all you need to know.

basically if they are plastic coated they are geberally sweet. You can't have uncoated braided lines as they can fray.
