Ok i just did the outside CV on my shit daily is there a way to get them of nicely other than get really really pissed of and bring out all the toys.
Plasma cutter to munt the cage to get the ball bearings out and then smack the living fuck out of it to leave the hub bit on the shaft then grind that in three and then bash it to bits to get that off just because of that stupid wire clip
Hate fucken FWD

what end is stuck? if the joint is stuck in the hub, it'll be rusted in there. soak it in crc, then use a BFH and beat it out. if its stuck on the half shaft, you could either cut it off(be very careful not to cut the half shaft) or beat it off with a hammer. failing that, remove the whole shaft from the box, oil will drain out so be wary, then attack it on a work bench or vice

remove from the car like dylan said and bash the shit out of it with a rubber mallet.
On the grass with some 4x2s is my chosen area.
Also have a nice cold beer handy when it does comes off and try hit as straight as poss.

if you are replacing the whole cv, use a normal hammer. if replacing the boot, use a soft blow or rubber mallet

Hi got it off and new one on as i put was just asking if there was a better / right was cutting the car into little bits is the best idea so far and seeing if they could melt it down into a real diff sorry to all the FWD lovers out there but CVs belong in 4x4s only
And BMT rocks
