Hey guys, a mate of mine has bought and taken over his brothers mostly completed project car (tubbed ca18det b110 sedan aka "dat8u") it's got a hilux rear installed but needs brakes and adapter plate to fit under 14s so what's the best option? Chris I'm guessing you know the go on this? Also he needs the Axels redrilled to 4stud and shock turrets made seeing the tubs have none. Il upload some photos later this week.

If the shocks are still mounted vertically, fitting disc brake calipers and having it lowered is a huge big can of worms.

Im running U11 Bluebird discs and callipers on the rear. Simon with the drift red AE85 is the man to see regrding the laser cut calliper brackets and possibly the rest of the work u need. re stud

If its got tubs it shouldnt have the sme prob as you have bart as all that steel should have been cut away.

Also this should have a 4 link or ladder bar setup or the leaves in boarded otherwise it has tubs for no reason as wheels/ tyres will hit the leaves.

Cant wait to see the pics.

Yeah just relocate the shocks inboard with the new turrets and live will be much easier. My calipers are on the front side of the diff which worked fine for the calipers but made the handbrake cables a little gay

I saw the car back when it was being tubbed. But that was a few years ago, so I can't remember exacttly how it was set up.
