Rear diff shims for 120y

I removed the diff and suspension to clean up the rear end of my car. Pulled the diff apart but found the shims on the ends that go on the backing plate for the barkes had failed.
Can I buy these new? or does some one have two they are willing to part with?
They are only thin and I assume have to be steel.
Advice, direction or help would be appreciated.

What do those shims even do?
I've owned many cars where they haven't even been there.

shims are used to straiten the toe out in solid rear ends
