So, decided with wagon in need of repairs I needed a cheap daily to burn round in (abeit very slowly) and something brock can use to take the Y off the road for awhile..
Take one buysell and a small wad of cash, trip out to hillbilly ville and we found this.. Sunny B310 SGX 1200 4 on the floor, bit ratty but that adds to it..After a short trip testing the massive handling potentials of the sunny, with some mild cornering the battery decided it need to go for a wee everywhere after having lunch with the alternator. So with Brock n Lisa following behind the backfiring sunny, pulled over, off with the terminals and promptly roadside removals the battery
So it turned up looking a little something like this:
Then brock decided some widened steels would look trick.
Said nah need to lower it,
Then lowered it some more... (in work time ...) Rear was actually for awhile full length front springs
Just fooling with you, actually borrowed some steels off GC steve, swapped 5 mint free tyres I had lying around onto rims and gave it the bad boy edition look .. Sat like that for a couple weeks while this happened..
13x8 & 13x7 widened steels, a ministockers worst nightmare (actually had one come into work and drop his lip!)
GC Steve exchanged a bumper (sits a bit more flush now) , swapped indicator lenses around to how I thought they should look. Brendan gave it some points and a quick tune. Mounted up a front spoiler brock had lying around doing nothing much, Rewired alternator and replaced regulator, old alternator. Scored a headunit & sounds, wired it all in. Brock did alot've polishing and cleaning. Saw good mate Zac for some seat covers.. Removed mudflaps..
Big big thanks to Steve for coming round and helping with the actual lowering and sorting shocks out for front end. and bedding our tyres in for a day and half on his wagon!
Stay tuned........
