Hey man welcome to the site. You should keep that sweet canopy, it will look sick when its wildly slammed with that on the back lol.

the canopy comes off with 4 clips so yea looking at keeping it as its so easy to use. my silvia is a 92 s13 with sr20det i have a habit of greeting walls with it had to cut it in half and fit a new one its almost done got to have it back together mid febuary for a race meeting. once thats done ill be cracking into the ute i think my plan is to restore it back to original so i can revin it and get it on the road then i want to lower it with some sort of oldshool dished small wheels maybe spitties then iv also got a spare sr20 sitting their so might slap some sidedraughts on it and fit it

Sounds like a sweet plan. Apart from the modgies though. Japanese wheels instead.

Won't that canopy slow you down too much in the Motorkhanas Kane? LOL. Hell thats a serious "OVERHAUL" on the Silvia, whats that all about?

haha canopy is for extra sown force at motokanas
sorry been away for awhile working in australia now but come home every 8weeks this is what has happened so far:
silvia got overhauled and new front after the crash, i put in a sr20de+t to get it racing while i decided to do with the old engine, this engine lasted 3 races and blew so i bought a sr20ve and have built a sr20vet for it and just ordered a 6boost manifold aiming for around 300+rwkw with full boost at 3000rpm and limit of 9000

with the ute:
i cleaned it up took it to a motokana and killed the clutch so i took it home and pulled engine out replaced frostplugs, clutch, gave it a bit of loving and a tune and i came across a eletronic distrubuter out of a forklift so i fitted that and took it for abit of a burn but the a12 not cutting it so i thought since im going to start restoring it ill put something else under the hood. I have got some sr20 bits lying around from the silvia so im going to build one with the left overs not sure how well it will go but im going to use:
s14 engine block
p12 ve crank, rods and pistons
s13 sr20det head
with ether side drafts or gtir quad throttle bodys and custom extractors
r30 gearbox and unsure of diff
also im planning on upgrading suspension in silvia so the fully adjustable suspension should make its wa into the ute
been looking at wheels looking at maybe some ssr long champs with +offset want it to look like a pregnant rollerskate
ill get some pictures up of it soon
