haha cheers for the comments team!

im thinking that the ssr's with the banzais may not look good because there kind of different styles.. but if i had another pair of old style jap wheels for the front it think it would look sweet as long as they had lots of dish! now the only problem will be coming across a pair or 14s that are about 8 wide haha! but i might not worry because im just gona sell this when its done anyway! haha! but dont worry because i'll be getting another datsun!

right have got a 175 on one of the ssr's, but the bead just didnt want to go on the whole way around! haha! ohwell! i think i will want to run wider tryes and put bigger rear flares on anyway!

also have been working on the wiring lots still, i have removed so much wiring thats useless and was just unconnected dead end loom, but still have plenty to do. if i cant get the lights ect to work i might take it to the shop and get them to do it beacsue im not that amazing with it!

well i've just gotten back to blenheim after a holiday in australia wakeboarding the whole time which was sick! but now its time for some more work!
the more i get into my wiring the more i think i should find an untouched 1200 coupe loom and start all over.. it looks like the last owner ha changed a lot of things around.. there are different light switches and windscreen wiper controls and wiring and none of it works.. and theres just a mess of wires.. my mate knows of a 1200 coupe thats in a paddock somewhere in nelson thats stuffed so hopefully its still there and i can go and try find the owner and get all the wiring out of that! but if anyone has a 1200 loom around i would be keen to buy it!
and does anyone know if the 1200 coupe/sedan/ute would have the same loom?

i really want to just rip out all the stupid crap in my car and just start over!

also does anyone know what this is in the picture?!

thanks for the help team!
notice you got no response to this, I'm not certain but it looks like a relay for the head lights or the horn to me. My sedan doesn't have one like that but has one under the bonnet with less wires that works the horn.

cheers for that mate, i just has random power wires and stuff into it, nothing for switched stuff like lights ect, and the insides look like regulators, its looks the same as the inside of a voltage regulator but i wouldnt see a need for one as the alt is internally regulated! ohwell!

Hey man just re; your wiring. I dont think it would be to tricky to use what you have, I assume the 1200 loom is similar to the 120y and I found mine really easy to bring back to standard once the whole lot was removed from the car.
Looking good and loving your enthusiasm

cheers for the input chief! i think now that the only bit of 1200 loom left is the part coming out of the back of the dash. all the alt and starter stuff has been redone and all lights and indicators ect appear to be out of a different car. i think this because the lights and windscreen wipers are done from the stalk, not buttons on the dash. but i've almost sorted it out! i have removed most of the crap and i just need to charge up my battery and start trying to get stuff going!

cheers!
