I feel like a dick asking this but:
Putting all the window mechs back in the doors and started with the 510. Problem is the window will not go up or down properly. Drops on the front side of the window . same issues doing up all wonky and have to align it for it to go up properly. Any ideas on what I am missing here?

Thanks mate.
New felt runners (brand new just installed before window mech) so didn't think I needed to add any silicon....
Bolts are tight.
both clips on window bracket? Do you mean the inside and outside weather strips that go on the edge of the bottom of the window area?
I dont have them in yet...
Window is aligned properly.
I have 3 cars worth of 1600 bits. Swapped over the mech from another car I know it worked in, and the window etc and still not working.

Incidentally, not the first time someone on here has asked that. Perhaps "Nellyville" is too cryptic?

without the mechanism in does the window slide up and down as you would like?
I'm not familiar with 1600 mechanisms but there will be some means of the mechanism sliding forward and aft of the window, sounds a little like this is not working as desired allowing pressure to be applied to the rear of the window but not the front, is the front arm of the Mech aligned properly and greased?

Its been a while since Ive physically put on together so bare with me if im not 100%.
Also excuse my pro paint skills mouse on carpet is a hard thing to do.
Ok. so the red circles are fixture points.
KEY:
1. is a slide that is attached to the door itself
2. is a slide that connects the window t the reg
3. uses a clip ro connect the reg to the window. dont forget the washer
4. seems i cant count as ive missed that out
5. is the window stop
6. this is the slide runner that goes inside the door for the window to run along.
also is this all windows or just the one?

I have only worked on the drivers door so far. I have everything setup as per your pic and have what I thought was perfectly put back in. The only thing that has changed has been the new felt bailey channel and thats it. It is all installed properly. I thought I may have missed some point of adjustment.
It goes up straight, but falls at the front of the window on the way down.
When going up though it is out by a couple mill on the back end of the window away from bailey channel.
I need to go back to it and have another go and see if I can find out where my adjustment is wrong.
