April 16th

Post by KSpatz »

Hi, just noticed that there's a meet/cruise on the 16th of April scheduled, and as that is the day after Drew's birthday I was just wondering if that's still going on?

If so, can I get some more details, like who's going, where are we going? day plan? etc., I'd like to plan something reasonable for his birthday this year, including maybe a night out if I can?
Especially if it's to Kaikoura or something we can maybe stay the night and actually go clubbing in a town where there IS still a downtown to club in lol. I know I'm in need of a good day/night out, as I imagine most people here are!

Thanks guys!

K.

I think this was goking to be either a Kiakoura (via the inland route) or Oamaru trip. But given the earthquake, I think it was shelved i favour of a working bee at hayden's and maybe a BBQ afterwards?

Does that sound right?

I don't have them. We need lisa to post up the minutes of the last meeting. I think some dates were chosen then, but I don't remember them.

Working bee is when a hive of people get stuck in to make a job small work. Like putting up a fence and painting it, or well, just work in general lol.

Oh ok, as long as we have some nice cold Tui to drink afterward if it's a nice hot day :)

And as long as it's a job I don't have to do too much thinking for! I'm having to think for myself enough at work (one of our supervisors got a better job, so he's prepping us for having to do without the guidance lol).
