Fuckyeah, your engine is looking tidy and tuff as, looking at this makes me want to scrap my 510 lol. Looks like I'm gonna need some cams and a lot of psi worth of boost tuned in before il be keen to attempt a wee race against you hah.

That looks sicker than HIV. So nice. The black tappet cover and inlet manifold suits it perfectly and completely justifies my decision to get mine powder coated black too so thanks for that!
My orangatang 510 here.

I've probably said it before, but man the FJ fills that engine bay up!
Looking superb Gaz. I look forward to hear what numbers you wind up getting out of it.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

haha thanks fulla's, will keep ya posted on results when its been tuned. Hopefully doesnt produce terrible numbers. Ive still got the mint condition rocker cover hidden away, would like to eventually refit it, and crystalline coat the inlet manifold in that red but the black will do for now.

Wee bit of an update, in between paying bills and the rates which the council have taken the liberty of putting up, i have managed to buy some 800cc injectors (with some regret as i now lust after E85 as the fuel of choice sometime in the future) and after around 5 weeks wait got the ballast resistor block from Link which i now have to wire in

Got it tuned yesterday, big thanks to Gary at P.A.D for his efforts and an excellent job. achieved my goal of getting into the 400+ engine horsepower range so quite happy with that at the moment. Has a pretty mean powercurve compared to the standard cams and 22psi comes in all at once and makes the poor wee chassis squirm. Next step is probably an eboost2, maybe fiddle the cam timing a little, then try make it handle a bit better
