Hi Guys,

Does the early A12 alternator mount (the one that mounts the alternator toward on the bottom of the engine) bolt up to an A15 block?

Cheers

Is there a reason why you want the alternator down in that location on an A15?
I think from memory youll have to modify the mounting bracket to make it fit on an A15, a friend of mine had started to do that a few years ago.
You can easily move the factory a-series alternator loom/harness from one side of the motor to the other, I did that when wiring up an a15 in a 1200 sedan, unwrapped the insulation tape and moved the alternator wiring over to the drivers side, then wrapped up loom with new insulation tape :D

I need to move it because I am mounting a supercharger on the other side where the alternator previously was.

It looks like the original a12 mounting position would be about the best alternative.

I can make up a custom bracket if I need to, but I find it is easier to start with something to copy or use something original

IIRC, you'll need to make a custom alternator mounting bracket. I'm pretty sure the A12 one wont work on the A15 block.
